Training Seminar Week 1 - Warm Ups, Mobility, Post Workout Therapy


This Saturday 22nd Sept (2pm till 5pm) Bridge Road Barbell will play host to the first of the new series of Training Seminars.  This weeks topic will be designing effective warm ups and how to incorporate prehab / rehab / mobility work and post workout therapy into your programme. There are only 15 spaces on the 3 hour course, so book your space as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment.

Subjects covered in the 3 hours will include

SMR - Self Myofascial Release
Dynamic Stretching
Muscle Activation and Potentiation
EQI's - Eccentric Quasi-Isometrics
Building a short, effective warm up
Choosing the right warm up for the workout
Things not to do when warming up
Session planning and prep time
PWT - Post-workout Therapy

Sign up now for four training workshops in the upcoming weeks, each focussed on a different area. Warm Ups, Mobility and Recovery, Advanced Hypertrophic Techniques, Incorporating the Dynamic Method (learning to use chains and bands effectively), and a Deadlift Workshop.  Each workshop is £25 for a half day.
Want to dramatically increase the results of your training by furthering your knowledge base and incorporating some more advanced methods?  Over the next few weeks Bridge Road Barbell will be hosting the first batch of what will become regular seminars and workshops designed to pass on training information and knowledge on to you.  Taking a methodical and scientific approach to training is the key to getting top results and in order to do so, education and subsequent application is the fast track to achieving your goals. 

The first 4 workshops running at BRB will be focussed around the following areas.
  1. Warm Ups, Mobility, PWT (post workout therapy)
  2. Advanced Hypertrophy (aimed at the hard gainer)
  3. Incorporating the Dynamic Method (correct use of bands and chains and how to apply them to your training)
  4. Deadlift Technique Workshop
