Starting from January 1st, those members on a £50 membership or above will be able to opt in to a "before / after" scheme which will involve Quarterly progress assessments. Those who opt in can have a "before" photo taken and stored on file along with various measurements (hip, thigh, waist, chest, upper arm, calf, etc ) and their body fat % taken. Every three months a reassessment will be done to see how much progress you've made. This is not compulsory but just an option for those who choose to get on board with it.

Bridge Road Barbell offers so much more than a conventional commercial gym, and is designed at getting you the best results possible. Commercial gyms are not the place to make progress, for many reasons. Details: This is based on single sessions, and not packages. Two sessions for £45. This deal is designed to help you increase the frequency of your personal training sessions. The 2 sessions have a 1 week expiry on them and so once booked both sessions must be completed within 7 days. This deal cannot be used in conjunction with any other existing deals.

The Return of Saturday Morning Strongman and Conditioning Sessions
Looking to re-start the conditioning sessions on Saturday Mornings. These will be starting at 10.30am on Saturday 3rd December and will run for between 45 mins and an hour. . They will involve a combination of weight training, strongman training and sled work. Not for the faint hearted, these sessions will bring out the beast within. Outstanding way to develop fitness, build muscle, improve body composition and develop full body strength. Cost will be £8 per class to non-members, and £5 for members.
To get a space on the class it is necessary to book up and pay for 4 in advance. (£32 to non members and £20 for members). Book your space by emailing info@bridgeroadbarbell.co.uk
For anyone wanting to try out some real strongman training, I will be running a second group session at 11.45am each Saturday which will be focussed on some heavy event training (farmers walk, car pull, sled pull, keg carry, atlas stones, yoke, duck walk, tyre flips etc). So to sum up, two new Saturday group sessions, one more based around fitness and conditioning with some elements of strongman, and one which is some true event training for those looking to take the strongman training more seriously and integrate it as part of their strength training programme.
Book your space asap, we need 10 people to commit to each class so that they go ahead. So invite your friends too.
